The system of gathering resources in Company of Heroes 2 is similar to the first Company of Heroes. It involves capturing flags placed around the map so the player can get ammunition and credits for fuel. It’s become easier for players to actually capture flags in Company of Heroes 2. The whole unit doesn’t need to surround the flag to capture it. The soldiers unit just has to be in a specified zone without any enemies nearby and the flag is ready to be captured.
